Further Study on Zen Practice Course – The Five Schools of Zen Buddhism

Bodhidharma's verse says: "I originally came to this land to teach the Dharma to save people who are obsessed with delusion; one flower blooms with five leaves, and the fruit will come naturally." Under the Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng, the Five Zen Schools appeared: Guiyang, Linji, Caodong, Yunmen and Fayan, each transmitting Zen teaching in their unique way for students of different attributes.  Zen Master Dae Kwan will elaborate the connection between Zen Master Seung Sahn’s teachings and those of the Five Schools in this course to deepen our attainment in Zen. We encourage everyone to cherish the opportunity and participate enthusiastically!

The course is only open to members who are precepts students or those who have completed the "Introduction to Zen Meditation" course. Full participation is recommended in which they could practice and consolidate what they have learned.
