Old Beam of Fir Wood Recycled!

Hae-Su Temple, the renovation of which is recently completed, had its beam crafted from premium fir from the West River Region when it was first built ninety years ago. Fir wood is said to have a fragrance that usually lasts a hundred years, and this keeps termites at bay. The beam, which has now been replaced, is carefully treated and grounded by an incense craft-master, who also adds various natural ingredients to make incense sticks. These incense sticks come in three different aromas which help to relieve tension, and heal the body and mind.

Let this Sikkhā incense, with its origins from a distant past, accompany your daily, propitious practice with its lightly swirling smoke and healing fir aroma, bringing forth calm and wisdom from inside your mind.

Three types of incense sticks include:
Incense Sīla: Fir, Benzoin
Incense Samādhi: Fir, Patchouli, Clove, Elemi, Benzoin, Cinnamon
Incense Paññā:Fir, Patchouli, Elemi

- Approximate length: 7.5cm
- Ignition duration for each stick: approximately 15-20 minutes
- Quantity for each vial: about 40 sticks
